Things change so rapidly sometimes.

My toddler is now having real conversations with us, using full sentences, carrying a tune - sort of. She's just growing up so fast!

Hubbs is getting the shaft, hard, at one job. They're threatening to put him on a schedule that we can't physically do, and it'll be his head if he doesn't comply. Unfortunately, in Oklahoma, you can treat your employees worse than animals and no one can say anything. Fuck you, "right to work." In the last 3 months, we've had 4 days off together. Essentially we're tag-team single parents who never got separated. It's lunacy.

Let's see... what else is interesting. OH! I'm strongly considering outing my employer, at risk of my job, concerning their disregard of federal employment laws, food safety & OSHA regulations, hygiene, and their own policies. They don't even allow their employees a copy of the handbook... not even in the office or break room is there a communal copy. Shady, shady.... I'm just not sure of the appropriate tack here. Do I call the news? Maybe find a pro bono lawyer; even go class-action? Maybe just share with the interwebs? We'll see. Before long they will be shown for what they are, though. It's not right to treat employees this way, and then expect them to gladly bend over backwards for you.
